PS5 is the strongest cream in the PS series and is suitable for low temperatures due to its abrasion resistance and excellent grip on dry snow. It is suitable for both alpine and Nordic skiing. Despite its frost resistance, the cream is easier to apply than many competing products due to its lower melting point, without affecting the sliding properties. The cream is fresh, smooth and suitable for artificial snow. Applying the cream for Nordic skiing or skating takes about 8-10 seconds. For a long-lasting result, the cream can be warmed to room temperature after cooling (10 minutes). The cream will start to melt after about one minute. A good cream applicator is required for effective melting. PS5 should only be used as a starter cream or base. Recommended application temperature: 150 °C. Replaces CH5X.
